Walking Alongside

I don’t come with answers. I bring lots of different experiences, a natural curiosity, a desire to help you to find your own answers and then some skills to support you to put these answers into practice.

The Christian faith has been, and continues to be, a big part of my life. I love teaching theology and encouraging faith rooted in the tough realities of people’s lives.

I’ve worked and volunteered across a range of organisations in the public and third sectors, but I am most passionate about working alongside those who struggle for justice and those committed to nurturing faithful living.

I want the time we share together to be challenging, rewarding and fun. And to make a difference.

I’m a thinker, a planner, an innovator, a facilitator and a pragmatist who delights in sharing about the people, ideas and movements who have shaped, changed and inspired me. And encouraging others to do the same.

Whether it’s thinking about the sorts of leadership we need, what we learn from being alongside people struggling against poverty, or the place of faith in today’s society, I’m interested (and hopefully interesting).

I love chairing and facilitating events – small or large - getting the best out of others, keeping people to time and engaging everyone in the room so we are all learning.

I’ve used these skills in all sorts of settings, from community halls to international conference centres. I’ve spoken at events across the UK, Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa.

I want the time we share together to be challenging, rewarding and fun. And to make a difference.
